Centre for Justice, Mercy and Reconciliation (CJMR) has lauded the Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu for providing enabling environment for speedy dispensation of Justice in the State.

The centre disclosed this during a courtesy call on the Chief Judge in her office at the State Judiciary headquarters, Kobape, Abeokuta

Hon. Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, while receiving members of the Centre on Wednesday 17th February, reiterated call for the expansion of the correctional centres across the Nation.

His Lordship said “the congestion is not good for the health of the inmates, I have suggested that the correctional centres should be expanded, maybe through reconstruction of the buildings of the centres to accommodate comfortability as much as possible for the inmates”

“It is not that we derive joy in keeping inmates who are awaiting trial in the correctional centres but we are not relenting on our oars at ensuring justice are delivered swiftly”. She added

Chairman, Board of trustees of the Centre for Justice, Mercy and Reconciliation (CJMR), Mrs Ayotola Ayodeji, Nee Oyediran, while appreciating the Chief Judge for her laudable gesture at ensuring speedy dispensation of Justice in the State, thereby requested for a synergy between the centre and the Ogun State Judiciary.

The centre, according to the chairman is aimed at exposing injustice, right wrongs, heal pains and restore hope to the voiceless.

In her response, Hon. Justice Dipeolu assured the centre of a cordial relationship that will strengthen the already enjoyed quick dispensation of Justice in the State.
